Let's see, the page is a day late...primarily due to my poor time management skills (Read as "he watched anime and played video games all Saturday"). Coloring also seemed to take a lot longer this time. I really need to go over my old color theory notes. I don't remember it being so difficult. In any case, I apologize for the delay and I'm going to try my best to minimize such delays in the future. There won't be a new page next week as I'm going to be attending Anime Expo Thursday through Sunday. I do plan on doing some HTML work I've been putting off...hopefully I can create a framework that I can continue to use for at least three months (until the end of my current school quarter). I also want to work on the Links page. Some people have mentioned that they'd like to see the Bio page. I'm planning on doing each bio as a entry into some sort of journal by the character in question. As such it'll likely be more interesting if I wait until I have a few more pages done. I could also stand to do a little bit more design work on the buildings and such. My ability to do backgrounds and architecture, while better than it has been still has a long, long way to go. It doesn't help that I ink everything with a brush. Yes I have technical pens, but I thought I'd try using a brush for a change. In fact this webcomic is all about getting better at stuff such as drawing, inking (notably inking with a brush), coloring, story-telling, and designing web-pages. Hopefully I'll see some improvement, but hell I could just stagnate. You may have noticed a small change in the size of the page. It went from being 576 pixels wide to 612 pixels wide. This is due to confusion on my part. Thankfully the confusion is behind me and the page size should remain constant from here on out. There's more I'd like to say, but it'll have to wait until next time. I really need to get some sleep. |
