Hello and welcome to the first and, as of this writing, only page of Sarasen Fusion (no I didn't misspell 'Saracen'). What's Sarasen Fusion? It's one of the many stories I plan on telling under the collective grouping of 'The Atomic Clock'. I know, I know, that probably doesn't answer your question but that's all I'm gonna be able to say about it at the moment. I'll go into more detail when I create the about page. I'll be updating this comic once a week. Check here by Noon on Monday and the next page (finished or not) should be up. I'm currently attending school and working full-time, which is why I can only update once a week. Most of the site is still being built. Until then please feel free to email me any questions, comments, and/or suggestions to mital@earthlink.net. Since I don't have time to build the links page right now, and in the interest of giving credit where credit's due...I'd like to thank Dan Zadorozny of Iconian Fonts, for creating Han Solo (the font I used for the title). When I first decided to use the name 'The Atomic Clock' I had a specific look in my mind but I hadn't been able to find a font to match that image until I found Han Solo, I was so happy to see that it was free (for non-commercial use), Mr. Zadorozny also makes a ton (and I mean a ton) of other excellent fonts all of which can be found at Iconian Fonts. I'm also using Nate Piekos' Digital Strip font, you can check out his stuff at Blambot! And finally, I have to mention Marshall Vandruff, the best teacher I've ever had in ANY subject. Without his enthusiasm, love of drawing, and uncanny ability for answering questions I didn't even know I had, I doubt I'd have gotten as far as I have. You can check out his illustrations at marshallart.com, also visit draw123.com to learn about and/or buy a condensed version of some of his classes on video/DVD. Sigh, I feel like I've slighted so many people by not mentioning them here...ah well...I'll make it up to 'em later on. |
